Convention 2015

One of the many things I truly love about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is being able to go to Convention, and this year was no exception. Seeing my Stampin' Up! friends always brings a smile to my face no matter what is going on. This year my father passed away suddenly in late June. While we had been estranged for three years his death still impacted me greatly. The aftermath of reuniting with my family even more so.

I don't know why, but as people we tend to get so wrapped up in our own heads and lives that we convince ourselves that no one else can possibly understand us, relate to us, or love us completely.

Going to convention reminds me that that is simply not true. My friends, my dear husband, my Stampin' Up! friends all remind me that there are so many great things going on in life even while we may be sad or hurting; it is up to us to choose what kind of day/year/life we're going to have. So I choose happiness for myself, and a big part of that is Stampin' Up! Their products let me be creative and share that passion I have as well as feeling secure that SU actually cares about and values me! Truly there are so many more blessings in life than we can count. This video shares that spirit.

Thank you for going along with me on my journey!
