HOW TO:
1. Cut your Tangerine Cardstock to the standard 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4" along the 8 1/2" edge.
2. Cut the first layer of DSP to 5" x 3 3/4", I chose two patterns and used the back side of each - thus four patterns.
3. Cut the second layer of DSP to 4 1/2" 3 1/4", use a different pattern.
4. On Whisper White rub the embossing Buddy
5. Ink the Happy Halloween stamp in Versamark, stamp far apart on the white, enough to cut it down to 1 1/2" x 3".
6. Pour orange or black embossing powder as desired, check out my cool bubble effect when using both on one image!
7. Snip the corners of the two patterned layers, adhere both to orange cardstock with snail.
8. Trim the embossed image to 1 1/2" x 3"
9. Adhere using stampin dimensionals.
10. Add Natural buttons and linen thread as desired.

How To:

1.    Cut Crumb Cake Cardstock from 8 ½” x 11” to 5 ½” x 11”. Score at 4 ¼”.

2.    Stamp You’re Amazing image using clear block F and Midnight Muse on Very Vanilla.

3.    Make sandwich for Framelit according to insert instructions; use post it notes to keep framelit in place if desired. Run through Big Shot.

4.    Stamp each small ticket image four times in coordinating ink on coordinating cardstock. Stamp near the edge of the cardstock for easier punching.

5.    Punch out using Ticket Builder Punch small ticket.

6.    Paper Pierce the top of each tiny ticket. Organize tickets in the color order you want them strung.

7.    Thread a needle with the Linen Thread, tie a small not in the end. Run needle through pierced hole on the tickets.

8.    Punch two Primrose Petal small hearts.

9.    Using post it notes, position the stamped and die cut You’re Amazing piece in the center of your card front.

10. Paper Pierce all the way around it using the Essential Piercing pack, be sure to put the Piercing foam mat under your card front and open your card so you don’t pierce through the back. Go ahead and pierce through the Post Its.

11. Remove the post its.

12. Adhere the You’re Amazing piece to the cardstock with Dimensionals.

13. Lay your strung tickets from end to end on the You’re Amazing image.

14. Tie two bows at the desired end points. Make sure the loops and ends are big enough to show behind the hearts.

15. Adhere the tied ends with glue dots to the You’re Amazing image.

16. Adhere the punched hearts to the top of the bows.

17. Adhere a pearl on each heart.

18. If desired decorate a coordinating crumb cake envelope.

Carry On My Wayward Son...

Today's cards were the fastest set of all occasion cards using one stamp set I have ever made. If you know me, you know I love heat embossing, and that is pretty much the only technique this card uses!

HOW TO:
1. Reink your VersaMark pad with about 6 to 9 evenly spaced dots. Always store your inkpads upside down to ensure the ink stays at the top surface when you are ready to use them.

2. Cut your cardstock from 8 1/2 x 11 to 4 1/4 x 11. Score at 5 1/2 so cards stand up like a triangle. Cut as many cards as you are going to make, these are really super easy to make and would make a great gift set. If you use the In Colors you can use each sentiment in the set once. Decide which color for which sentiment.

3. Rub the Embossing Buddy thoroughly over each card front. Set up your Heat Tool, White embossing powder and spill tray. Beside those set up your stamping area as you will need to pour the powder over each stamped image immediately.

4. Align your clear stamps all on one large block, you can line them up nice and straight by butting the top and bottom edges against each other. I breathe on my clear block first, then press down on the stamps for three seconds.

5. Ink the stamps in Versamark and stamp on your cardstock, immediately pour the embossing powder on.

6. You can set each card aside after this step and do your embossing all at once, or you can emboss one at a time, it is up to you. Just be sure to have a nice empty counterspace to set your powdered cards where they won't get nicked.

7. Occasionally I'd get powder in tiny spots where I didn't want it, use the toothpick to scrape off the powder in those spots. Heat emboss, use tweezers or tongs if you are sensitive to heat.

8. Use white ribbon and small bits of SNAIL. I wrapped my edges around the card front and adhered.

You can push this design to WOW status with white layers and more bling, but I found the simplicity of this stamp set handy. Plus you should check out the original poster here: http://wartimeposters.co.uk/keepcalm

 How To:

1. First cut your Basic Black and Tangerine Tango 8 ½” x 11” cardstock to 8 ½” x 5 ½” Score and fold in half, making the front of the card 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.

2. I wanted ¼” of the base cardstock to show through all around my pattern layer, so subtract ½” from the both front measurements; 4 ¼” x 5 ½” goes down to 3 ¾” x 5” for the pattern piece.

3. Cut strips into ¾” x 5” for the next layer. I used 6 on my three cards, but you can cut as many as you like for however many layouts you want to use. If you want the banners a little longer you can cut the pattern layer smaller, or the cut the banner strip to hang over the edge of the card. Just make sure it will fit into an envelope without having to fold in the banner.

4. Cut banner triangles into the ends of the strips. For my card using four strips I lined up the chevron pattern how it was before it was cut and alternated which end I cut, this makes the eye move like crazy.

5. Adhere the bottom pattern layer with snail, adhere the banner strips with snail.

6. Cut your Whisper White cardstock to 3” x 3” squares, rub with the Embossing Buddy anti static bag.

7. Using a large piece of scrap paper underneath for each color Stampin’ Emboss powder used, stamp the Frightening Feline image in Versamark. Stamp directly up and down to prevent the whiskers from smearing.

8. Immediately pour the desired color of embossing powder over the image. Tap the back with your nail to remove any excess powder. After powdering, dump the remaining powder back into the container by cupping the scrap paper like a taco; tap the end to move it along.

9. Once you have stamped and powdered all the cats you’ll need, heat emboss with the Heat Tool. Use tweezers to hold the image at the corners. Watch carefully so you don’t overheat and curl the edges.

 
10. Add bling! I used Pumpkin Pie buttons from the Brights Designer Buttons with Linen Thread and Glue Dots, a couple Basic Glimmer Brads with my trusty Paper Piercer, and cut out two cats on one card using my super sharp Paper Snips and popped all of the cats up on Stampin Dimensionals.

 11. This card would be easy to ‘kick up a notch’ by tying ribbon around the banner strip or using even more colors and patterns from the Howlstooth and Scaringbone DSP. Have fun!
