The way we see things

Mixed Bunch - a different perspective

I was over at my friend and fellow Stampin' Up! enthusiast Sara's house when I whipped up the flower card above.  I appreciate seeing what Sara comes up with as my style is colorful, especially using the In Colors and Brights families. Sara's style is classic, focusing on the Neutrals with an accent color, layering and symmetry. She love my card so much she decided to make her own version of it and I agreed to post it to share with all of you, to show that making something YOUR WAY is also considered being creative.

Please note, all page numbers will now reference the new annual catalog.

How To:
1. First cut your Island Indigo (or Whisper White) cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Fold in half, making the front of the card 2 3/4" x 8 1/2".

2. For Sara's card decrease measurements by 1/4", so cut So Saffron to 2 1/2" x 8 1/4" and cut Basic Gray to 2 1/4" x 8".

3. Ink the flower and circle centers stamps using the markers for Erika's card or the pads for Sara's card and stamp on the appropriately colored cardstock.

4. Punch the inked images out by turning the punch upside down to align.

5. If doing Sara's card, adhere the layers of Saffron and Gray first with Snail.

6. Adhere the flower images and centers with Dimensionals.

7. Carefully adhere the Rhinestones where desired.

8. If doing Sara's card, color the Rhinestones with Sharpies.
